**Peripatetic Registered Nurse - (RGN)
£21 per hour 36-48 hour contract (Up to £52,500)
Covering Elderly Nursing Homes in South - Bristol, Swindon and Oxford
NIGHT & DAY DUTY**We are currently recruiting for a Peripatetic Registered General Nurse to join a small healthcare provider.

You will be supporting a number of Nursing Homes across the South East and you will travel around the nursing homes ensuring standards are high andclinical expectations are being met.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

To be accountable to the Regional Manager/Director for delivery of the agreed improvement plan for the Home.
Maintain the safe day to day running of the Home, working in partnership with the Home Manager and senior team in the home.
To lead the team in the Home to achieve the best possible outcomes for its residents.
Engage in effective methods for auditing and assuring the quality of the Homes provision and services.
The allocated place of work will be determined by the Regional Manager/Director, based on requests from Home Managers for short/long term permanent staff absence, annual leave or recruitment gap cover inrespective Homes
Shift and placement length will be agreed by the Regional Manager/Director. Any additional hours to be worked need to be previously authorised by the Regional Manager/Director
An improvement plan will be delivered by the post holder whilst in the Home and will be agreed and up to by all parties.
The improvement plan will be time specific and will plan for the exit of the post holder at the end of the placement period.

Duties:

Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Ensure the dignity and respect of every resident is maintained at all times.
Travel as required within the area and other areas within the company for business and training.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Previous nursing home and supervisory experience
Previous experience working within an elderly care environment.
Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans.
Knowledge and/or experience regulatory framework.
