Up to £40,000 DOE

Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting my client, who are a well-established accountancy practice based in Northampton, and are currently seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Senior to join their team.

As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and tax returns, and providing advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and providing excellent customer service
Providing advisory services to clients, including VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping
Supervising and training junior members of the team

Requirements:

ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an accountancy practice or relevant field
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
