The Role - Area Supervisor


Assitant Contract managers are skilled in ensuring seamless day-to-day operation of their dedicated contract/s focusing on proactive client and staff engagement, quality control and compliance.

To manage your dedicated contracts in accordance with contract agreement, client requirements and budget constraints. To lead the team to deliver a first-class service in line with Pinnacle Values, ethos and Service Delivery Strategy. Travel will be required throughout Liverpool and surrounding areas.


Duties/Key Responsibilities

People Leadership:


  • To have a direct relationship and awareness of your team ensuring you know every member of your team
  • To engage your team involving them in decisions that affect them, identifying improvement/ideas/training needs and support them accordingly.
  • To holds monthly team meetings, providing clarity and setting expectations involving staff in the contract and wider company.

Performance and conduct management

  • To set and manage personal development plans and quarterly performance reviews for all direct reports
  • To escalate and manage underperformance in a timely and consistent manner in accordance to company capability procedure
  • To monitor progress and quality of your team's outputs ensuring
  • Service levels are implemented and monitored
  • Proactive auditing and supervision
  • Action on all hotspot areas and senior management/client audits
  • Effective workforce planning and shift cover
  • Staff development, upskilling and crosstraining
  • To carry out investigations and informal meetings in accordance with company procedure
  • To proactively manage absence with the aim to reduce related impact by:
  • Carrying out accurate and timely return to work interviews
  • Keeping in touch with the employee during absence
  • Identifying trends and escalating to your line manager
  • Promoting wellbeing
  • To assist your line manager in the use of and compliance with appropriate business processes and procedures in relation to:
  • Staffing levels and resource planning
  • Recruitment, selection, probation and retention
  • Onboarding, induction, training, objective setting and development plans
  • Absence management including reporting, analysis and escalation.

Operational excellence:


  • To be responsible for contract compliance in terms of specification and KPIs
  • To develop productive working relationships with client and residents in accordance to the stakeholder management plan.
  • To be responsible for local walkabouts and interface with residents/ housing officers.
  • To partake in formal client meetings and reporting in line with the agreed format.
  • To implement change initiatives and keep up to date with legislation and best practices.
  • To be responsible for optimising and overseeing operations to ensure efficiency using Workplace Management System.
  • To partake in pricing new business and bid presentation as and when required.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • To ensure compliance with corporate and sitespecific health and safety plans.
  • To assist your line manager with subcontractor management
  • To ensure every incident/occurrence/event is logged meticulously as guided by operating procedures
  • To maintain absolute confidentiality of any information obtained on the company and its personnel
  • To assist your line manager with the use of and compliance with appropriate business processes and procedures in relation to:
  • Health and Safety and Environmental
  • GDPR
  • Finance
- cost and budget planning and management

  • Procurement of suppliers, equipment and materials
  • IMS, WFM and client reporting

Finance

  • To assist with the management of your contract budget ensuring:
  • Spend within budget
  • Stock orders and stocktake are carried out accurately and on time
  • Invoices are checked and logged
  • Accurate data is maintained and available for audit
  • Payroll base info
