Description

Restgarth Care Home is a residential care home located just outside the village of Polperro with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to help make our residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Providing support to adults over the age of 65 and specialising in caring for people living with Dementia, there are 32 spacious bedrooms across three floors, all with an en-suite facility. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager. You can also expect to support the team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that's warm and welcoming. The role will include following a care plan and assisting with personal hygiene, nutritional intake and providing social and emotional support to those in our care.

We have on site accommodation that can be offered at a subsidised cost.


You should have or be working towards a NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant.
