We're looking for an exceptional
Workshop Team Leader (night Shift) to join our fast-growing team at Cazoo, helping to transform the way people buy used cars and making buying a car no different to buying any other product online today.

The Workshop Team Leader will be responsible for the allocation and prioritise of work in a busy and demanding Workshop, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met at all times.

What you'll be doing:

Acting as shift leader to a team of Vehicle Technicians on a 554 Rotational shift basis and covering alternative shifts as and when required.
Ensure that the vehicles being passed through the workshop meet the Cazoo standard
Problem solving in real time, running diagnostics for each vehicle and determining repair times in conjunction with your team
Identify more efficient methods of working and reducing costs
Ensure all Workshop Technicians are correctly using the inhouse electronic system to accurately record work carried out and perform periodic spot checks.
Using customer feedback to optimise and improve the standards within your department.
Ensure knowledge of the latest inspection and repair techniques are kept up to date and applied appropriately throughout your team in line with the latest Cazoo standards.
Full compliance and enforcement of company health and safety policies
Absence management and resource management of your team
Initial and ongoing training and development of your team
Attend daily meetings with the management team and cascade any relevant messages to your immediate team
Achievement of relevant KPI's for your team

Required skills and experience:

Minimum Level 3 recognised industry qualification
Proven experience of working in a team environment
Experience of Providing complex diagnostics to a wide variety of vehicles.
Attention to detail
The ability to drive a team to hit KPIs
Excellent communication skills
Adaptable to change with a high degree of flexibility
Familiar with working with technology e.g. tablets, smart phones etc
A fast paced mindset
Full driving license required max 6 points and no disqualifications
Flexibility to work various hours and days on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and evenings.
