We're looking for a Team Leader to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham.

Location:
Birmingham, West Midlands with hybrid working available

Contract:
Fixed Term Contract (12 months), Fulltime

Salary:
Up to £32k + Benefits

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader you will provide planning and management of the work and workforce of both internal and external operations, ensuring high level of service is maintained throughout.

You will be accountable for ensuring the corporate procedures are complied with, job packs are relevant and properly prepared, programmes of work are clear and adequate, and all relevant records are maintained.

Your day to day will include:

Ensure the Kier values are enforced in planning team and that measures are put in place to promote these values.
Responsibility and people management of highways planning team.
Production of detailed works handovers.
Liaison between highways planning and delivery teams to ensure jobs are planned right first time and cost effectively.
Liaison with third parties, stakeholders, collaborative working to ensure network occupancy is optimised.

What are we looking for?
This role of Team Leader is great if you have:

Experience of working within highways industry including knowledge of the Birmingham network and highways operations
Ability to lead a team and stakeholder management skills at different levels.
Computer literate with regards to Microsoft programmes, Confirm & Street Manager
