Home Instead Gloucester and The Forest of Dean provides support to elderly clients in their own homes throughout the area._ _We are looking for kind and compassionate home care assistants to join our dedicated team to provide care to clients in and around Gloucester.

Job Description:


What you will bring:

Helping clients remain happy, healthy and thriving in their own homes Responsibilities may include:

  • Companionship and wellbeing support.
  • Supporting your client with everyday tasks from meal preparation to light housework.
  • Accompanying your client to the shops or appointments to support them in their local community.
  • Helping with dressing, washing or bathing.
  • Supporting with the administration of medication.

In order to help you achieve the best for yourself and your clients, we offer:

Competitive pay -
from £12.32 to £13.44 per hour including guaranteed holiday pay. Bank holidays are paid double time.
- ** Minimum one-hour calls
- with client and carer matching for continuity.

Part-time and full-time hours available:

  • to fit around our clients' and your lifestyle, work will be allocated in an area near you.

Qualifications:

While experience is always valued, we can train and bring you up to the required skills level very quickly.

So even if you have no prior experience or qualifications you can still join the Home Instead team with a willingness to learn.


As our Care Professionals support our clients in their own homes and you will be a community carer, you will need reliable access to a vehicle.
