Position Technical Coordinator

Location South Yorkshire

Salary £30, ,000 + package

Industry New Build Housing

A medium sized House Building Contractor, who specialise in building 2-4-bedroom homes are seeking a Technical Coordinator due to continued growth throughout region.

You will be reporting to the Technical Manager, looking after multiple developments throughout the South Yorkshire region.

Job Role;

Programming resources either externally or internally to meet business plan objectives
The production of accurate detailed information in line with programmes and budgets
Reviewing all information to be issued for accuracy and efficiency.
Providing all necessary associated Health & Safety Information
Responding to queries promptly and effectively.
A working and indepth knowledge of NHBC Standards, Design Standards, Building Regulations and other legislation relevant to the construction industry with the ability to keep updated with any changes to this.
Liaising with the planning authorities and building control bodies to secure the discharge of conditions.
Provide technical support and information to all disciplines.
Resolve and answer all technical queries from construction and other internal departments promptly.

Skills & Qualifications needed:

The ability to communicate effectively with internal departments as well as external consultants.
Deliver effective support systems and processes driving continuous improvements and value engineering.
The ability to recognise problems and deal with them in a speedy and effective manner.
Excellent project management skills.
A good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office package and AutoCAD.
