Description
We are looking for someone for 20 hours per week to support the Financial Resilience Co-ordinator to deliver a range of projects, initiatives and activity that supports improved financial resilience and wellbeing as part of the Health, Housing & Communities directorate's approach to Community Resilience.
To support the delivery of a Financial Resilience Toolkit (Resilience Webpages & Checklist) supported by an ongoing annual programme of activity including (but not restricted to) online support; communications and campaigns; training and training resources.
Key points of the role are:
To promote financial resilience at a variety of events and forums.
To access Health Champion training and support the Health Champion Network events.
Promote and signpost people to the Live Life Well Hub and support Public Health to make links between financial and wider health and wellbeing activity and support.
To assist in delivery of Making Every Contact Count Financial Wellbeing training.You should have knowledge and understanding of principles of community/financial resilience, financial wellbeing and financial inclusion
Knowledge and understanding of the key elements and impact of welfare reform and other key events and agenda impacting on personal finance
Ability to engage with a wide range of audiences / stakeholders including residents - listening to others to assess requirements in order to respond appropriately and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including excellent report writing skills
Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
