Description

The Referral Management Service at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Leader to support the running of the service.

The post is a full-time role which involves working cross-site and reporting to the Assistant Service Manager

Duties include:

Provide a secure and efficient referral service, ensuring all paperwork is processed in line with Trust targets

Responsible for the day to day management of the team in line with Trust policies

Supervision and management of RMC processes to ensure acceptable standards and data quality

Auditing and validation of work to ensure resolution of any errors such as quality, delays etc

To ensure resolution of enquiries, complaints and carry out complex investigations regarding any aspect of the RMC process

To provide training, development and support for staff to ensure delivery of the service.

Review and report on staff performance, setting clear standards and objectives, identifying training/development needs and performance/conduct issues

Manage and ensure accurate records of staff attendance, annual leave and sick leave to ensure the service is always adequately covered

To ensure statistical information is produced, collated and analysed on a daily basis to assist in evaluating the efficiency of the team
