Description

You should be devoted to helping others and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.

The role will involve contributing to the delivery of an effective Adoption Support Service, managing caseloads of adoption families in need of specialist support, utilising expert knowledge, training and therapeutic skills to provide or source appropriate interventions.

You will be required to work in a variety of different environments and must have a working knowledge of the legislation surrounding adoption to ensure that children and young people are adequately protected in line with departmental policy and procedures.

At all stages of the process you will be advocating for orphaned children and working with multi-agency professionals in statutory and voluntary sectors to ensure all identified needs are met and maximise support services for adoptive families.
