Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Distribution Administrators and Coordinators based in Lincolnshire who would be interested in a full time, permanent position based at Bardney in Lincolnshire.

Role Profile

Assist the Head of Distribution in achieving maximum efficiency ensuring all UK sites have the right materials in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities

Manage the company's contractor drivers, ensuring maximum efficiency.
Liaise with local operations covering preloading and unloading.
Ensuring service levels are achieved and maintained.
Assist the team in ensuring all delivery requests are met on time and in full.
Maintain detailed records of stock levels to maintain supply of goods.
Keep up to date service and maintenance records for company's road tanker fleet.
Operate a standard way of working to ensure consistency through distribution process.

Desired Applicant Profile

Previous experience from logistics/transport and agricultural sector.
Good working knowledge of UK geography.
Anticipate and resolve problems effectively.
Competent in use of IT based Transport systems and MS Office.
Working hours: 07:30 17:00 Monday to Friday but other patterns may be in operation between during peak seasonal business periods.
