As a Mental Health Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Offer oneonone and group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Implement targeted interventions to address mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with school staff, counsellors, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere to encourage social and emotional growth.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the wider support team.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Mental Health Youth Worker is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications in mental health support, counselling, or related fields.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and individual requirements.
