Description
Macildowie Finance are working on an exclusive with a leading Rugby based business to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. All divisions of this company are considered the best in their market.

  • Timely and accurate production of daily sales and order report
  • Code and post third party suppliers' invoices, debit notes, credit notes, expenses and credit card transactions onto the Purchase Ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Complete new supplier account forms and open new accounts
  • Perform SAP supplier payment runs ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with their terms
  • Liaising directly with internal and external customers on all aspects of the Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Providing any other Purchase Ledger support as required
  • Accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
  • Responsibility of SAP fixed assets.
  • Assist with the production of cashflow forecasts.
  • Production of periodic sales and purchase ledger KPI's.
  • Assist in month and year end procedures.
  • Support finance manager on process improvement and automation projects.
  • Provide any sales ledger and credit control support as required.
  • Provide any fleet management support as required.
  • Provide any cash book support as required.

Other Duties

  • Mapping and training notes of finance processes.
  • Maintaining process notes in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Key trainer for all purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank activities.
  • Continually striving for continuous improvements in processes using SAP and other tools; this should include elimination of nonvalueadded activities.
  • Maintaining high standards of filing and performing scanning processes.
  • Assisting in month and year end procedures.
  • Providing holiday cover within the department.
  • Flexibility to help in any area within the departmental team when appropriate.
