The Growth Company (GC) has an fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join the Education and Skills team to ensure that accurate data is entered within relevant systems to claim funding from various agencies, and to assist with a variety of administration duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invigilate and provide administrative support for exams, tests and initial assessments as required.
  • Register individuals for qualifications where appropriate and make sure that all Awarding Body procedures are followed in order to meet centre approval requirements.
  • Certificate learners for qualifications making sure that all the requirement of Apprentices Certification England (ACE) procedures are met.
  • To accurately process paperwork onto systems to ensure Education and Skills is able to claim funding for the programmes of training.
  • Assist with various administration duties such as opening and sorting the post, dealing with telephone queries, ordering stationery and any other delegated tasks.
  • Maintain data for audit purposes including scanning and archiving data.
  • Manage day to day finance processes including petty cash, raising purchase orders, and checking invoices.
  • Where appropriate be responsible for the overall learner journey providing student/employer support where required.
  • To provide a front of house reception service, handling all enquiries swiftly, ensuring Safeguarding requirements are met at all times.
  • Taking payments from employers and managing commercial course booking.

About you

  • Customer service and administration experience.
  • Ability to deliver a customer focused internal and external service.
  • To be motivated and drive to complete tasks.

Skills Required:


  • Communication at all levels including good written communication.
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • At least Level 2 Math's and English skills.
  • Fully proficient with all Microsoft packages.
