The post holder will work as a senior member of the team providing support and advice alongside effective leadership to a specified clinical team.
This will be achieved by ensuring the provision of high quality safe and effective care. In addition will provide direct clinical nursing care and will deputise in the absence of the Senior Sister/Matron
The Emergency Department has a well-established workforce of Emergency Medicine consultants who provide 0800 to 2200 consultant shop floor cover 7 days a week and also have 24/7 middle grade shop floor presence.
The directorate has invested in the development of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner workforce and this is now well established across Urgent and Emergency Care.
We have also recently appointed two physicians associates and are constantly exploring alternative workforce models to support and compliment our existing team.
We have a team of excellent nursing staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join an innovative and dynamic directorate, to provide nursing leadership for the Emergency Department.
The Emergency Care Directorate at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is continuing to expand and transform our urgent and emergency care services.
