The post holder will support the Green Travel and Car Parking Co-Ordinator manager in promoting the Trust Travel Strategy. Working with stakeholders internal and external with travel plans that where possible are a sustainable alternative to the car. The post holder will assist with the administration of the cycle to work scheme.

The post holder will be required to network with relevant groups across the city exchanging and adopting ideas as appropriate, seeking travel related projects as they arise and promoting new initiatives The post holder will need to provide a welcoming and helpful reception and helpdesk service

You will provide to provide general Admin & Clerical duties, including answering the telephone, transferring calls and taking messages.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00


Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Accurate and concise minute-taking for departmental management meetings as directed by the Senior Sustainable Transport and travel manager. This may include some highly confidential and complex information
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders eg: finance and Human resources
  • Assist staff with identifying the most appropriate option for travel to work
  • Closely work with the Trust Salary Sacrifice providers of cycle to work and other salary sacrifice opportunities to promote and administer such schemes. Including extrapolating data from the on line portal to send to Employee services and finance for approval to the scheme
