Position:
Assistant Storeperson


Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week


Location:
Airdrie


Job Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Receiving Deliveries: Efficiently receive and check all incoming deliveries to ensure the accuracy and quality of goods received.
  • Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries and address any discrepancies in stock.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of shortages and spare items to facilitate accurate inventory management.
  • Inventory Management: Regularly update inventory management systems to reflect accurate stock levels and minimise discrepancies.
  • Goods Organisation: Organise and deliver goods from the store to the relevant departments within the organisation.
  • Driving Responsibilities: Essential to have a valid driver's license for organising and delivering goods.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime may be possible as needed.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license is essential for the role.
