This vacancy is for an Apprentice Engineering Maintenance Technician (Mechatronics) based in Clitheroe.

Mechatronics Maintenance Technicians ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost within High Value Manufacturing environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to gain valuable experience in both maintenance and engineering in a fast-paced environment.

The main responsibilities of an Engineering Maintenance Technician are:

Maintaining machinery and equipment.
Trouble shooting issues to maintain productivity.
Repairing faults in machinery and equipment.

Key Training

How to work safely in line with behavioural safety principles.
Trained in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Planned maintenance of complicated automated machinery.
Routine preventative maintenance tasks.
Problem solving skills.
Analytical skills.
How to comply with the 10 rules of cGMP.
Communicating with colleagues.
The importance of time management.
Project management skills.
How to complete relevant documentation in a clear concise manner.

Training to be provided

L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Foundation Competence).
L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competencies) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician.
L3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
