Teaching Assistants required for Mottingham and Lewisham Primary Schools.


Classroom Support are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a SEN and Mainstream schools in Mottingham and Lewisham that caters for SEN students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other complex support needs.

The positions will start as temporary and have the option to move onto permanent contracts after 12 academic weeks.


They are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistants who have supported students 1:1 and in group settings with a variety of complex support needs.


There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £400 to £425 per week, depending on experience for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only. To start throughout September into October.


Requirements of the role are:

  • Advantageous to have a form of restraint training such as Teamteach
  • Supporting SEN students worked 1:1 setting, building a relationship of trust
  • Must have experience of supporting students with challenging behaviour, ASD, ADHD, or EBD and be of a calming but firm nature
  • Advantageous holding of a Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Must have or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service
