We are looking for a Civil Design Team Leader to join our growing team and help support the Civil Design Department


Here's

what you will be doing:

Taking ownership of a project. Managing a programme of works for the Client, managing all stages. Line manages a dedicated team of Civil Designers daily. Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Civils 3D. Resolve technical problems and issues to support the delivery of projects or design objectives. Prepare technical reports for both internal and external purposes. Provide technical administrative support including project advice and design assessments. Produce preliminary and detailed engineering designs from 11kv to 132kv in compliance with Industry standards, within time and budget. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to include DNO's/IDNO's and customers. Assisting Project Managers and site teams in understanding the design. Creating Design Risk Assessments. Assisting and mentoring junior or less experienced design engineers in their development.
Here's

what we need from you:

Experience with ICP's, IDNO's and DNO's is essential. Experience in managing Civil design projects. Experienced in managing a team of Civil designers.- Ability to work with project managers to overcome any site issues. You are experienced in undertaking project related tasks associated with health, safety, and welfare, e.g., Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. Ability to use Autodesk products and prepare your own drawings. Strong IT and Microsoft skills. Ability to Multitask. Knowledge of ENA/BS/IEC/G81 standards. Commercial awareness. Good and Clear Communication skills. A full UK driver's licence.
