Recruitment Support Officer
£15 per hour

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support with regards to management and maintenance of internal ATS and manage government SMS system for visas.
- Working in partnership with the Recruitment Consultant, assist managers with conducting Vacancy Planning Meetings, recruitment queries, writing and placing adverts on ATS system and external job boards.
- Prepare and post social media advert posts on Councils LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter pages and update careers website.
- Oversee advert performance and escalate to the Recruitment Consultant to identify potential remedies.
- Support hiring managers with longlisting, invitations to interview and all other recruitment documentation.
- Provide assistance on recruitment related projects and management information as required by the Recruitment Consultant.
- Manage all incoming recruitment queries and ensure requests are responded to within 48 hours.
- Oversee the compliance and management of all recruitment related documentation in line with the recruitment policy and procedures.
- Undertake face to face and virtual right to work checks on new starters and current staff, including ID checks for right to work, professional registration and DBS.
- Monitor recruitment related documentation for expiry dates on visa's/residence cards etc and ensure extensions are applied for when necessary, on SMS system.
- Promote best practice and legal compliance in recruitment and selection, including the promotion of equalities, inclusion and diversity.
- To assist the Recruitment Consultant and provide analysis to the Council in respect key HR recruitment metrics.
- To collate data to support HR Business Partners in their decision making and provision of advice to the Council.
- Assist on HR projects as designated by the Recruitment Consultant
- Assist the Recruitment Consultant to plan and deliver training to the client in respect of key manager recruitment responsibilities.
- Establishing a close relationship with the Human Resources Business Partner and support and react proactively to recruitment administrative demands.
- Where required, attend Formal HR meetings to take notes.
- Update the intranet with details of new programmes or changes to existing ones.
- Ensure the service adheres to data and information security policies and escalate any breaches accordingly.
- Deputies for the Recruitment Consultant as required.
- Cover and support the recruitment admin as required and when the service demands it.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Working knowledge of HR recruitment best practice (Essential).
- Previous recruitment experience (Essential).
- Experience of working in an administrative setting (Essential).
- Recruitment Applicant Tracking System Experience (Essential).
- HR compliance experience (Essential).
- Recruitment admin experience including volume recruitment (Essential).
- Excellent customer care and communication skills (Essential).
Skills:
- Able to produce reports and collate information (Desirable).
- Able to work independently and under pressure, planning work appropriately to ensure you meet deadlines and KPIs (Essential)
