Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to work for an exciting client who are a market leader in their field and have been established for over 30 years and part of an international group.

AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience
Proven bookkeeping and payroll experience in a Small to Medium size business
Strong IT skills including Excel and accounting packages such as Sage or MS Dynamics
Ability to work on own initiative with strong communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally

The Role - Key Responsibilities

Responsible for all bank accounts, daily cash allocations and reconciliations
Management of credit control, liaising with customers and monitoring cashflow
Processing of purchase ledger invoices and supplier statement reconciliations
Management of the fixed asset register and accruals and prepayments
Weekly and monthly reporting to group, producing accounts to trial balance and assisting in the production of the profit and loss accounts and analysis
Management of stock movement
Processing VAT returns
Processing weekly and monthly payroll monitoring SSP and holidays
Manage the company fleet and liaising with managers on queries

Accrington, Burnley, Blackburn, Rawtenstall
