Assembly Technician

Pay rate:
£12.50ph - £14.00ph


Location:
Bar Hill

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Shift:
Rotation - Week - Monday - Friday 05:45pm - 13:45pm

Week - Monday - Thurs 14:00pm - 00:00pm - Friday Off

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Mechanical Technicians in Bar Hill to start work immediately.


We have both contract and permanent positions available working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of specialised & sophisticated, fabricated gas and liquid control systems
. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.


Relevant Skills & Experience:


  • To comprehensively read and interpret technical/engineering drawings;
  • To assemble and disassemble various products/ components
  • To follow manufacturing/quality procedures and standards;
  • To assemble small bore tubing and associated mechanical components;
  • Complete mechanical assembly and pipe preparation tasks in a clean room environment;


  • Leak detection

  • Vacuum, Stress test & Pressure (training will be provided);
  • Be willing to undertake work onsite;
  • Mentor and assist new starters;
  • Liaise and update Production Manager / Supervisor on status of goods
  • To keep areas clean, tidy and adhere to Company health and safety procedures
