Description

STEM recruitment has a superb opportunity for an Site Maintenance Team Leader for their highly acclaimed client in the Scottish Borders area.


The role involves a combination of reactive and planned maintenance on the facility whilst supporting other Engineers and Technicians to ensure that the plant runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.


The role involves planning, scheduling and co-ordinating all electrical work on the site whilst ensuring that all H&S standards are met.


You will maintain the production lines in an efficient fashion, ensuring that downtime is minimised through quick and efficient troubleshooting.

You will have proven experience in diagnosing faults and performing production equipment maintenance covering both mechanical or electrical issues or a combination of both.


You will also undergo a schedule of planned preventative maintenance with a proactive approach to improving the efficiency and productivity of the operation.

The position will also involve working on a variety of projects such as supporting on process improvement plans.


The job would suit an Engineer who is Electrically biased or multi-skilled and has experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

You should also have experience as a Senior Engineer, Team Leader or Manager. The position is on a 4 on 4 off rotational basis covering both day and night shifts.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
