Description

The role of Assistant Director of Communications is a newly created position, providing an exciting opportunity join a high performing Trust with exciting plans for the future.


Accountable for corporate representation and engagement of our 13,000 staff and external messages to our communities, stakeholders and media and support and advice to the trust leadership team.


Ensure the professional, high-quality day to day management and development of both the communications and medical illustration services, include the achievement of performance targets.

We have also made significant investment in our quality improvement and digital programmes to support our vision and we will ensure that we achieve our aim of providing the highest quality healthcare to our patients.

Our new EPR - Epic - went live in June and we are already beginning to reap the benefits of this ambitious investment.
