The post holder will be responsible to the Chief Executive for leading the Trust's involvement in the Integrated Care System (ICS) Collaborative and the Trust role in the Provider Collaboratives for specialist services.
The post holder will also lead the Trust's strategy and planning function.This will include ensuring that the Trust is well placed as an anchor institution within the Sussex ICS to contribute and lead changes in future commissioning arrangements (incorporating planning, transformation and delivery functions), in response to the Long-Term Plan and the changing NHS architecture.
The post holder will be the executive lead for the Heads on Charity.
They will have well-developed influencing and networking skills and will work closely in collaboration with NHS and non-NHS partners, including local authorities, education, charity, housing and other third sector organisations; to further develop the Trust's reputation as an exemplar provider of mental health, learning disability and neurodiverse services.
The post holder will have a significant role to play in helping to build a strong, exciting and more sustainable future for the services we provide to some of the most vulnerable people in society, through their work, external influencing and relationship management skills.
To play a key role in leading the work required for transformational change in terms of the approach to collaboration and integration with other health (including acute colleagues), social care, independent, charity and third sector partners.
To identify, create and strengthen key strategic partnerships and relationships as well as identifying and driving through new opportunities for future collaborations.
Their area of focus will be broad ranging and develop, but will include a specific focus around the following:- Provider Collaboratives
- Planning and strategy development
- Specialist placements
- Collaborative commissioning aspect of working with NHS Sussex (ICB) in the ICS
- Governance requirements linked to emerging ICS structures
- Primary Care Networks, GP Federations
- The STP/ emerging ICS
- The 3 Place Based Partnerships
- The local authorities
- Housing/ Education
- Heads On charity
