About us and the role

  • An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Forestry Team as a Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative. You will need at least 5 years' experience of working within the grounds maintenance sector. You will be responsible for maintaining various sites across the whole county including Shire Hall and the County Records Office, also Myton Sports Ground which includes fine turf management. You will need to be motivated and willing to work on your own and under your own initiative in all weather conditions. Opportunities will be provided for ongoing training and development.
