We are currently recruiting for a
Head of Information Security to join our
Risk Management Team.


The Role


Reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer you will be responsible for all Technology Security governance including ownership, development and operation of the control framework.


You will enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives through the operation and oversight of the Group's security control framework which allows us to promote operational and cyber resilience, manage risk, embrace change and protect both the Group and our clients' assets.


Responsibilities include:


  • Management and oversight of all relevant aspects of Information Security governance within the Group covering Technology Security and Cyber Security.
  • Development, maintenance and execution of the Group's Technology and Cyber Security strategy.
  • Chairing the Technology and Cyber Security Steering Committee and representing at relevant forums, committees, and Boards.
  • Management and oversight of the Technology and Cyber Security Programme to ensure that appropriate capabilities and processes are implemented based on best practise requirements and threat landscape.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders on the development, ratification and ongoing maintenance of relevant policies, processes and standards.
  • Ensuring controls are designed and operating effectively and are appropriately monitored such that Technology and Cyber Security risk is managed in line with the Group's risk appetite and that all regulatory compliance is met and maintained.
  • Management and oversight of outsourced Technology and Cyber security capabilities and services.
You will be a standard bearer for doing the right thing, with integrity and excellent leadership skills.

You will be confident in challenging the executive directors and non-executive directors views as appropriate with constructive suggestions and alternative proposals.

You must be an effective communicator at all levels and to all audiences, and be able to impact and influence in both oral and written form.

You must be highly motivated, with the ability to use your own initiative and be a lateral thinker with a passion for the utopia of the balanced risk/reward business approach.
