Responsibilities and Duties

  • To provide reporting and liaison services for all commodities within the ALS Inspection Group in conjunction with the Assay Services Manager and the Customer Services Manager and to manage its effective and efficient implementation.
  • After a period of extensive training you will be given full control of your files, from acknowledgement to invoicing.
  • Responsible for the management of the samples service and key account management, as well as assisting the Inspection Department.

Desirable Skills:


  • Have GCSE's grade C or above in English and Maths. A degree in Chemistry is also desirable, but not essential.
  • Be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft packages in particular Word, Excel and Outlook. Essential.
  • Have working knowledge of the Assay business and it is also desirable that you have experience in reporting analytical findings.
  • Be able to multitask, have excellent attention to detail and communicate professionally.
  • Have the ability to recognise patterns in numbers and understand data base systems.
  • Have good customer facing skills and be able to develop sound business relationships.
