SALES/ESTIMATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you ready to become an sales/Estimator for a well established and successful sports construction, civils, building and landscaping company?

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales/Estimator to join a strong established construction company on a full time basis.


Hours are pm. Office based.

Our focus is on delivering high quality sporting facilities, infrastructure and landscaping visions to both the commercial and domestic sector.

Our clients range from local authorities, sporting clubs and organisations to providing the dream garden to Mr and Mrs Smith.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Estimator to join a strong and established construction company working nationally.

Working within the Midland CSB sales team, you will share our vision, aiming to provide an outstanding level of service by delivering high standard quality construction works which will result in a product all involved with will benefit from and be proud of.

You will be responsible for:

• The provision of estimates for prospective projects satisfying client needs in a cost effective, creative way that enhances and promotes the business.
• Support the Managing Director and Project managers in estimating, bid writing and cost management of live projects, including identifying areas of growth within the business, in compliance with business strategy and business planning.
• Assisting with the buying process for awarded contracts/projects and monitoring costs throughout live projects to ensure works are completed better than or within budget.
• Assess and appraise contractual documents.
• Seeking new opportunities with existing client base and actively work to identify new and relevant sales leads.
• Obtaining, updating and conducting case studies and distributing across all marketing avenues.
• Industry experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible working approach due to deadlines and fast paced environment.
• Full UK driving license
• The position will be UK based from our office.
• Salary dependent on experience
