THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ticket Centre as a Senior Financial Administrator.

The purpose of this role is to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all cash and cheque activities are carried out effectively and efficiently and accurately recorded. Incudes the daily issue of floats and the banking of all cash /cheque receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all cash book operation and bank reconciliations activities in the ticket centre bank account(s) are accurately recorded and reconciled daily. This encompasses all income and all payments.
  • Maintain and control the petty cash systems within Ticket Operations including reconciliation on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that all transactions undertaken in TALENT are correctly reflected in the daily reconciliation and accurately recorded in the daily TALENT journal (including bimonthly journal posting).
  • The accurate and effective running of all aspects of the Ticket Operations Accounts Receivable ledger including doubtful debt review; credit control and where appropriate balances written off.
  • Completion of monthly control account reconciliations to ensure that the account balances can be justified and that the financial accounts are an accurate representation of Ticket Operations income.
  • Provision of information for third parties; Rangers FC Finance Department, Rangers FC auditors, Bank
  • Chargeback's Bounce cheques.
  • The provision of management information on timetabled and ad hoc basis.
  • Contribute positively and enthusiastically to the success of Ticketing Operations.
  • Ensure effective communication within your work team and actively offer support and guidance as necessary to achieve team targets and goals within the designated deadlines.
  • There will also be a requirement to help in the Ticket Office with supporter sales/enquiries etc on a match day or at peak periods.
  • You will gain a sound working knowledge of all associated areas of ticketing.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Proven experience working within a similar role would be desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of double entry bookkeeping procedures.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Double Entry booking keeping.

  • Enquiring mind with good attention to detail.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise.


  • Computer literate

  • Microsoft Excel advanced preferable, Word proficient and Access an advantage.
