Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is a vibrant and diverse local authority committed to enhancing the well-being of our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Best Interest Assessor to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
nder the supervision of the Team Manager and Senior Practitioner, the Best Interest Assessor will be responsible for:

Identifying and safeguarding the needs of adult social care clients.
Demonstrating proficiency in working within the Mental Health Act 1983 and 2007, Human Rights Act 1998, and Care Act 201
Practicing independently in the Best Interest Assessor role.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Best Interest Assessor.
Previous experience in social work practice within the Mental Capacity Act 200
Familiarity with the Mental Health Act 1983 and 2007, Human Rights Act 1998, and Care Act 201
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment.
