Working hours will be 09:00 to 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch break.


WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED:

You will be based in our site in Manchester (M90 5TE).

  • Must have import/export experience.
  • Commercially aware and customer service driven.
  • Ability to work confidently and proactively on your own and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • Looking for a future career and progression within a growing company.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:


  • Experience in Cargowise/Sequoia
  • Sea and air freight import/export experience

WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITES?:

  • Monitor the import shipments with shipping lines
  • Collate the relevant paperwork and documentation require to process the import into the UK
  • Prepare and submit an import customs entry via the ASM Sequoia programme link to CDS.
  • Arrange transport of LCL and FCL shipments with our transport team
  • Liaise with the UK importer all the way through to the delivery.
