Internal Sales Clerk - Freight & Shipping - Altrincham - Up to £38,000

About the Company
Our client is a freight forwarding business based in Altrincham who offer road, air and ocean logistic solutions. They are looking to increase their team for their ever-growing business by adding an internal sales clerk.

The primary role of the internal sales clerk will be to quote existing customers (primarily air and ocean clients) as well as upselling services.

There will also be commission on any new business brough in, for the lifetime of the account
This is an ideal position for an experienced air and ocean clerk, looking to progress their career into an internal sales role, with the added flexibility of working from home two days per week

Internal Sales Clerk - Requirements

Working in the freight industry is essential
Previous experience quoting air clients is essential
Previous experience quoting ocean clients is desirable
A desire to nurture accounts and upsell to maximise profitability
Strong ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across cultures and countries
An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fastpaced environment is crucial
