The job itself:

Carer required to support a gentleman living in North Cave. The gentleman is a full time wheelchair user and uses a ceiling hoist for moving and handling. Training is provided for new employees.

The gentleman would need support putting to bed. Carer would be required to complete small household duties, i.e. ironing, etc. during the night and tend to the gentleman if he wakes. Before leaving, the Carer would be expected to prepare medications, etc. for the following day, but not administer these.

Hours of work to be fulfilled are:

  • 10pm
  • 6am Sundays
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
