As part of the CAS Division, Chemotherapy Daycase is offering a unique opportunity to a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our busy outpatient department.


As part of our ongoing service improvement work we have highlighted the need for additional member's of staff working Monday to Friday in our very busy unit treating patients with a wide range of cancers.

The unit is open between 8am and 8pm.


The Chemotherapy Daycase unit is based at the City campus and also has a satellite unit at Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield.


We are constantly striving to improve our service to patients and work closely with our Oncology colleagues to develop and extend our service.

You will need to be enthusiastic, keen to work with this patient group, committed to improving standards of patient care and willing to learn new skills.

In return you will have the opportunity to expand your role, learn cannulation and venepuncture, PICC line careYou will work closely with the Chemotherapy co-ordinator in helping organise the day by signing in chemotherapy, distributing the chemotherapy and TTO's to patient bays.

You will also be required to phone patients for fit and well assessments.
