This is a part-time post (25 hours) with a shift pattern of Day duty - Mon

  • Fri.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

Support role within Orthoptic/Ophthalmology outpatient department based in the Royal
Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
The role is to support clinicians by performing pre tests on patients. These include
vision, visual fields, OCT, colour vision, instilling drops as examples.
The post holder will be working in a busy department with 6 other support workers.
The post holder will be dealing with a range of patients and duties on a daily basis.
The post is 25 hours per week which must include Mon and Fri all day, the other
hours will be agreed with successful applicant.
Previous experience within an Ophthalmology unit / Optometrists is preferred. All training will be provided in house.
