JOB ROLE- SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT - SUPPLY

LOCATION -EXETER

£70 TO £80 per week dependant on experience
**Supply Cover

2 to 4 days per week

- dependant on schools need.**Working pattern

8.30am to 4pm

Do you have the patience, empathy, enthusiasm, passion, and caring nature to work with children?

Don't want to commit to regular hours? You've worked in a school setting before and would like to do this on an ad-hoc basis? We can help.

You just need to be good with children, reliable, benefit from the list below, and have a 'can do' attitude.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
Good numeracy and literacy
IT skills
Organisational skills

Patience and the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
We are looking for Teaching assistants who can help with Supply cover when needed, and sometimes with little notice.

Typical duties include:

Helping pupils with their learning, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing
Supervising group activities
Setting up equipment for lessons and keeping classrooms safe and tidy
Helping develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
Motivating an encouraging pupils'
Monitoring and recording children's behaviour and progress
Helping with school trips and activities.
