Brief outline of role:

Provide administration support across departments.

Lead the college's Information, Advice and Guidance, and End Point Assessment (EPA) process within various departments of the college.


Key Responsibilities specific to role:


General departmental duties:


  • Assist with room bookings.
  • Manage learner lanyards.
  • Manage laptops and keep inventory.
  • Manage learner bookings.
  • Create and update registers.
  • Manage attendance daily and report issues to course lead.
  • Send attendance registers to Nissan.
  • Attend and record weekly team meetings, one to one, caseload, and operational meeting minutes.
  • Filing of learner's work and checklists.
  • Support enrolment weekly.
  • Assign weekly assessment plan.
  • Add new starts to tracker/new starts tab.
  • General admin/support assessors.
  • Liaise with employers and students on assessment dates and communicate all results.
  • Work effectively with teams across the business to ensure a smooth learner journey.

End Point Assessment Duties:


  • Send out EPA preparation reminders to supervisors/learners.
  • Contact learners and supervisors with EPA results
  • Preparing and printing EPA portfolios
  • Send out weekly reports to track the learners EPA progress.
  • Support the various departments within the college with any release or requirements for EPA.
  • Communicate both exam and EPA results to the Course Leads with the relevant feedback.
  • To maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of Awarding Organisations regulations and procedures, and to ensure all other appropriate colleagues are kept up to date with these as required.

Information Advice and Guidance Duties:


  • Coordinate and attend IAG events.
  • Offer support to students up to 13 weeks after the end of their training.
  • Attend and take part in regular planned meetings with the department to ensure relevant information is shared and understood to maintain motivation, a sense of inclusion and commitment.
  • Support with the recruitment of learners to specific training programmes.
  • Attend careers/jobs fairs to promote the variety of NA College's courses as and when required.
  • Support with open days including set up of room, presenting of information and marking initial assessments.
  • To undertake any additional duties as advised.
