Salary:
Up to £23,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.


Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance 3 x salary following probation, and 5% pension

Summary:


Our client is responsible for the coordination, guidance and support of a trio of operating businesses, who are involved in the supply, distribution and fabrication of wood veneer and decorative laminate panels.

The Company vision is to demonstrate theirsustainability commitment to become Net Zero by 2030 and to further this, they annually record and measure their CO2 impact, undertaking internal initiatives to drive down carbon emissions and lead by example in the UK's Built Environment industry.

Our client is currently recruiting for a Group Content Marketing Executive.

Reporting to the Head of Group Marketing, the aim of this role is to work closely with the members of the Group Marketing team to produce best in class content that is both relevantand engaging for businesses, products and brands across the Group.


It's an exciting time to be joining the company and its Marketing Department as they continue to expand and evolve business activities, with the opportunity for the successful applicant to grow professionally alongside the business.


Responsibilities include:


  • Supporting the Head of Group Marketing to ensure effective communication of key messaging and value propositions within the delivery of digital content.
  • Working closely with the Group Digital Marketing Manager to optimise new written digital content in alignment with relevant keywords identified across the Group to improve SEO of our websites and various 1 page "campaign sites".
  • Supporting the Group Digital Marketing Manager with content creation of social media posts, organic and sponsored across each company's accounts to encourage new followers and drive engagement levels.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to provide ideas and recommendations of new content creation to increase brand awareness to our target audience on the relevant digital channels.
  • Supporting the Marketing Team with updating website content through internal CMS' for the Group's websites and various 1 page "campaign sites" to ensure all information is up to date.
  • To continually develop your own knowledge of our Group's products and services.

Qualifications and experience:


  • Ideally educated to degree level in marketing / business studies / creative writing or equivalent Diploma and/or CIM qualification.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CMS platforms, and ideally CRM Systems, WordPress and Adobe Creative Programmes.
  • Understanding of general marketing principals including brand awareness and lead generation activities.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting and editing skills with the ability to create engaging written content for a variety of digital channels.
  • Eye for detail, produce quality work and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Team player effectively contributing to the success of the Marketing Team and who will be comfortable collaborating with all internal functions.
  • Selfmotivator who is target driven with enthusiasm and commitment to achieve success.
  • Highly organised approach with excellent timemanagement skills.


This is a full-time permanent role, usual working hours are Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 5:30pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm with an unpaid hour for lunch each day.
