In the dynamic Finance Team, this role, pivotal in supporting the Finance Manager, plays a fundamental role in guiding the commercial sales team.

Building robust relationships with sales and operational teams is essential to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire commercial life cycle of products and services.


The responsibilities span a diverse spectrum, encompassing general ledger accounting, ensuring commercial compliance and accurate invoicing, managing the sales ledger, overseeing cost control and approvals.

Handing payments runs. Reconciling statement and addressing general queries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and precise sales ledger invoicing, along with the meticulous management of accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Completion of financial reports to meet monthend deadlines.
  • General ledger reconciliation of key control accounts for validating purchase invoices and confirming accurate processing of correspondence sales invoice.
  • Commercial compliance of sales process opportunities, ensuring validation and approval align with corporate guidelines.
  • Approval of vendor invoices, reconciliation to supplier statements and approval of specific key vendor payments.
  • Offering support to customers/vendors and addressing queries as they arise.
  • Collaboration with the sales team and operational support team to provide power user support for processing opportunities.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role and understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft 365 products.
  • Previous experience of using Financial Force and/or Salesforce is desirable but not essential, however exposure to similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
  • Any accounting qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
