Altum are delighted to be working with an established, PE backed, multi-site company who are looking to add a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to their rapidly growing team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced finance team based in Central London

Job Overview

Coding and processing invoices and credit notes daily
Help maintain the finance inbox to ensure all invoices and credit notes are acknowledged and supplier queries dealt within maximum 24 hours
Review ageing on a regular basis and provide updates upon request to finance team
Assisting with the preparation of payment runs
Issue remittances at the point the payment run is approved
Review AP report regularly to identify debit balances and allocation of payments
Perform supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting the financial accounting team in monthly accruals and prepayments
