Description
We are looking to appoint a Technician to carry out sampling and testing of materials at our new state of the art the Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) processing facility based at Ridham in Kent.
Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will be a well organised, highly motivated individual with a technical background looking for an exciting/challenging and rewarding position.
Site Working Hours will be:
Monday to Friday (To include 1 Hour Unpaid lunch break)
You may also have to work Weekends and Bank Holidays If required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment
- Prepare samples and complete tests in accordance with written procedures
- Complete documentation/data entry of test results
- Be responsible for managing your own workload and activities
- Work to and maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and order within the laboratory and adjacent areas.
- Be involved in analysis of results and the continuous improvement of the site
- Ability to work as part of a Team
- Reliable, punctual and selfmotivated
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ideally with a technical background you will be able to work accurately and methodically
Job Types:

£12.00-£14.00 per hour
