Firstly, fantastic hours.

You'll work Monday to Friday during school term time meaning more time with friends and family and no working at Christmas You'll also benefit from:

  • 40 hours per week with no late nights
  • Monday to Friday 7am3pm
  • Working 40 weeks per year based around term time what could you do with all that time off?
- £28,000 per annum

  • Based in a school in Cambridge, CB3 serving approximately 600 lunches per day for students

As Executive Chef Manager for Aspens, you'll have full operational and financial responsibility for your site.

You'll oversee your kitchen, striving to provide high quality food, using the freshest ingredients, and providing outstanding customer service whilst ensuring the rest of your team are performing to their full ability.


  • You'll lead, develop, coach, train, and inspire your team from the front
  • Managing the control of stock, food, and labour costs to ensure budgets are met, you ensure your team understand what needs to be achieved at all times
  • Ensuring the consistency of standards across all service outlets, you'll deliver an exceptional service, exceeding client and pupil expectations by overseeing the kitchen and menu development, using fresh locally sourced ingredients
  • You'll drive sales and maximise profits through promotions and quality products

We need someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:

  • OND or HND qualified would be advantageous
  • You have craft based experience in using fresh ingredients to showcase your high level of culinary skill
  • You'll come from a background of working in hotels or restaurants, where high quality food being delivered is the norm and standards are high
  • You have a good working knowledge of health and safety and food safety
  • You have financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • You'll be experienced managing a team
  • You have an astute commercial awareness within the industry
