Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in West Bromwich in their search for a High Risk Workplace Assessor to work with apprentices.

The role:

This role is offering part-time hours (16.5hrs per week) on a temporary basis until May 2023.

We are looking for a High Risk Work Placement Assessor to join and support the colleges Occupational Health & Safety department.

This role will be responsible for managing the college high risk employer assessment process carrying out workplace assessments for suitability in line with current contract and HSE requirements.

You will promote, deliver, train and assess learners on high-risk work placements within apprenticeships, whilst ensuring that the college complies with all health and safety SFA, procurement standards regarding high-risk work experience placements.

The person;

To be successful, you will hold a teaching qualification, minimum of PTLLS or equivalent and NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.

You will have at least 2 years' experience in workplace assessment and well as experience in working within a Health & Safety role.

Have you got what it takes?

NEBOSH qualification
Experience working with apprentices/ learners
Experience in workplace assessments and Health and Safety
