Job Description:

The Opportunity


Combining our deep knowledge of solar, wind, storage, and grid technologies, with our global power modelling and analysis capabilities, our Wood Mackenzie Power and Renewables team deliver advice that inform and support our clients' decisions in the complex and rapidly changing electric power industry.

Located globally, we provide research and analysis that help our clients actively pursue the energy transition.


About the role:


Dive into analyses of some of the most cutting-edge topics of the energy transition by working alongside analysts on our Grid Edge research team.

Contribute to original research on EV charging, microgrids, grid modernization, and virtual power plants, helping the world's leading companies advance their strategic thinking on the power sector.

Learn from our experts while building a foundation for a career in energy innovation.

Qualifications:


Requirements:

Studying towards a Bachelor's degree or professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy and/or economics focus.

Applicants must have the legal Right to Work in the country this role is based in. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for

  • Strong collaboration skills
  • The ability to creatively problemsolve
  • Great written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work with and organize complex data
  • Experience with Excel and ideally databases, including SQL
  • A genuine interest in clean energy technologies and the willingness to dive into complex documents, such as utility regulatory filings and vendor technology specifications
