We're looking for a
Traffic Management Operative to join our Utilities, National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team no days are the same.
Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and Maintaining all the work carried out is done safely and to programme.
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.In this role, you will be working on our National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) contract, where we work on maintaining the client electricity distribution network across the chosen area.
In the role of Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for all upkeeping and maintenance on site and aspects of digging & lay on the electricity networks.

Permanent - Full time
Salary:
Weekly paid, hourly rate £13ph to £16ph, dependant on experience
Responsibilities
As a Traffic Management Operative for the National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team your day-to-day will include:
- Responsible for ordering and managing materials.
- You will be the support person between both laying and digging teams
- You will be setting up and dismantling Sign, Lighting and Guarding on public and private land.
- Strong focus on Health & Safety whilst completing the work on time and to the required specification.
Who are we looking for?
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good Communication skills
- Selfmotivated
