We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established finance team.

This a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong Purchase Ledger experience looking for a new challenge in a supportive and friendly team.

The role is initially a 6 month FTC, based in Thetford.


Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:


  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices both manually and electronically
  • Matching purchase invoices to multiple goods receipts and dealing with any discrepancies
  • Dealing with and resolving a large number of queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with improvement of processes
  • Working with the wider finance team and assisting in other accounting duties when required

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Solid experience in a highvolume Purchase Ledger role
  • Experience using an accounts payables system would be favourable
  • Experience in manufacturing would be ideal but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fastpaced environment
  • IT savvy including use of Excel, comfortable learning new accounts software.
