We are excited to be seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Payroll & HR Systems Administrator, initially on a temporary 18-month contract, to assist with the management and maintenance of iTrent, our HR & Payroll system.


In this role you will support the HR/Payroll Operations, wider HR & OD services, liaise with software suppliers and other key partners in the council.

Ensuring key business processes and statutory requirements are managed and developed effectively.

The successful appointment must have a recognised Payroll or HR qualification (or relevant experience) and be experienced in managing Payroll or HR Systems and have a good understanding of how to add value within an organisation.

You will have the ability to build strong and trusted relationships across the organisation and you will have excellent communication skills, able to tailor delivery to audience and present complex information clearly.

You must be a strong team player, possess drive and initiative and be able to work in a disciplined environment.


Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes' walk away.
